The unit was easy to assemble and worked as soon as I put it in the birdbath. As it gained more solar power, the height of the water increased. The extra tips make it fun to adjust the size and height of the spray.

Floats around my bird bath. I only use the fancy attachments when we are enjoying the back yard. Otherwise, it sprays too much water out. The little burble is enough for the birds and to keep the water from being stagnant and slimy

The height from this pump has been about 15 inches or so, but that has been on overcast days. It may go higher on sunnier days. Even if that is as high as it goes that will be fine because it is exactly what I need to provide some moving water for my hummingbirds. Although it can be suctioned down in a container I have let it float around which makes it even more interesting if you have the room to let it roam. I've only had it about a week so I can't comment on its reliability, but I've very satisfied so far with its quality.

The suction cups won't stick to my birdbath, which is made from high-density polyresin, so it floats around the water. However, the fountain is beautiful and works wonderfully when the sun is shining and for a while after the birdbath is shaded. The fountain turns off when there is not enough water. It is really neat to look out my window and see the pretty water fountain. It also looks cool from a distance. My neighbor noticed it and complimented me on it.

I love trying out the different sprayers and the birds absolutely LOVE this fountain during this hot summer. Different visitors every day, so fun to watch!

Solar power pumps have gotten a lot better in the past 10 years. This little disk has enough oomph, even here in the PNW where we don't have a lot of sun, to make a nice splashing in less than an inch of water. All the attachments work and look nice but this one is the one I like best. Was very dubious about this pump but it works way better than I expected. Would def buy again.

These are so worth it. They come with different attachments you can I have a different looking fountain. All you need is sunshine and water. The birds absolutely love them.

I?ve bought cheaper versions of these in the past and haven?t been disappointed necessarily as I knew what I was paying for but this time I wanted something a little higher quality as they never seem to last the summer, or work most of the time really. I was impressed with this one as it worked right out of the box on an over cast day. I was tickled by how big the spray was on some of the nozzles! I don?t use them but they are fun to play with. I just let it bubble so that the bird bath doesn?t stagnate but you could use this for some creative water features in the garden. Been running it for about a week and it?s just a tiny little no fuss pleasure.

There is no on and off switch. The height of the spray is proportional to the measure of direct sun. Don't let it run dry and clean the filter often. There are hundreds of cottonwoods in our neighborhood. When the cottonwoods are spewing their seeds the filter catches them and I clean it out once a day.

I love this fountain, it doesn't need confections or anything just the sun's rays, it's beautiful and the little birds love it

I added it to my bird bath and have enjoyed it ever since. One caution - it stopped working after a week and I was getting ready to send it back when I finally read the instructions. Small debris can get stuck in the pump, but very easy to open up and remove. If it stops working, clear the pump before giving up on it.

I bought this for my dogs' outdoor water bowl. Just for some fun. It has a great fountain height when the sun is right on it. I haven't even tried all the different nozzles as yet. I went through the photos others posted, so many options for this, from a pond to a table top decor and in a garden setting, of course in a bird bath. I saw people offering how to prevent it floating in a bird bath with fishing line or with decorative shells or stones. I had another use in mind: as doggie enrichment! This will make for quite some entertainment this summer! Very happy with it so far.

Finally received the long-awaited fountain, the package was delivered on time and once I getting it, I can't wait to try it. I assembled it according to the instructions and leave it in the water. As described in the advertisement, it can spray water for several hours under the sun, and I can choose different spray head to change it every day with 6 nozzles attached. I take it to my little pool in my backyard. My dog Seas often went to play seems totally exciting, and I enjoying the peaceful. But in the evening, it began to spray water intermittently, and it stopped spraying water at night.

The 2.5W motor does a great job of pumping water through the fountain. Too good, in fact. The spray from every head was so high that the water was blowing out of the birdbath. So, I just used the straight pipe, no sprinkler.

I already have 1 but different brand. Just got this today and set it up right away. I have 2 bird baths..first I put it in the one on the deck and it worked really good.. then I waited till the sun went down and I switched it. And wow!!! This thing is amazing and still going as Im doing this review.. and the other pic by the way is the other brand.

Love these for the ponds in the garden.

We're using this in a VERY shallow 1.5" deep bowl that's only 14" in diameter so we don't need a lot of spray. After a lot of trial, error and wet shoes, I settled on using only the stem extension. This is perfect for our use, now I don't have to dump the bowl and refill every few days in case of mosquito larvae. Instead, I add a half cup of water to keep the level high. Seems to work even on overcast days (which we have lots of here at the beach) and close to and slightly past sundown sometimes. Our little desert tort likes to hang out beside it in the sunshine and gulp down water.

Fast shipped, and works great I am amazed

Make sure your bird feeder is as level as you can get it, they will drift:) I’ve never had luck with the suction~but I don’t care about that. I love them, the birds love them~the neighbors. I have 3 birdbaths. If it starts to act funny, there’s a little filter on the back, make sure it’s clear of debris, especially during pollen season.

This little bad boy is perfect for a showy fountain. Mind you, it won?t even turn out the fountain unless there?s enough water to almost submerge it. But I?m direct sunlight, it shoots well over 18in into the air, & that?s not using one of the fountain heads designed to go very high. The fountain continues well for a couple of hours after the sun is gone. Very showy & pretty, well worth the money

Very easy to install. I installed it in a kiddie pool to cirulate water for my dogs. Its is very simple to set up my daughter whos 9 helped me set this up and it took us no time at all.

Those suction cups are useless if you have a stone fountain. Therefor the fountain floats, often resulting in the stream of water landing outside of the fountain. I also found every fountain attachment to cause a high stream of water which caused a lot of splashing, resulting in water splashing out of the fountain. It doesn't take long for there not to be enough water in the bird bath for the fountain to even work.
After some trial and error I have a solution and I now LOVE this fountain. I placed heavy sea shells around the fountain creating a barricade, you could also use rocks but I didn't have the right sized rocks.

Second one of this tight I've ever bought and this thing is beyond superior. I have it in a smaller pot and actually had to take a sprayer off because it would empty out the pot twice a day. In a pool or a large pond this would look amazing as long as you are able to keep it in the sunlight at all times. For the price highly recommended.

So far this solar fountain is working great! It is still working (many others quit within days of receipt), and it has the right nozzle to move the water nicely, attract the birds and not empty the bowl of all the water. Very important during these terrible drought days in So Cal.

I got this for my large koi pond. I didn't want anything that required a cord or plumbing, so solar power is ideal! Worth looking at if you want a small water feature for your koi pond.

I love how high the water can go! I’m excited it will shut off without water. And I like how it has suction cups. I’m very excited.

I wanted this for my birdbath to help keep mosquitos down in our birdbath. My husband was wary of a solar powered "fountain" , but we are both impressed! It varies in height depending on the sunlight it's receiving, so keep it in a pretty sunny location! Great price!

This small solar fountain works great in full sun. The perfect size (6.3?) for our small bird bath. The description and enclosed directions are straightforward and clear - must be in full sun to reach optimal power and fountain shower height. Caution ....a breeze and brisk wind will cause water to escape the bird bath, so ensure to maintain sufficient water level.

Started humming right out of the package. The stream is perfect. As far as the suction cups go, use a glass plate and boom!! Problem solved. I’m just ecstatic over it and I’m sure the birds will be too

We've got the pump a little over-target. We provide water to our little pool. And I have to be honest, I'm surprised. I assumed that the water only runs a little ahead, but then I had to build a lid on the gutter because the water pressure was so high that it sprays over the gutter.

it works very fine when the sun shines. When cloudy a little less, but it is worth every penny. It floats good. No sound, very silent.
